"The tank appearing in the 1989 Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade movie was a replica vehicle made from an excavator, following the hull shape of the Mark VIII but with a turret added."

Consumer Reports and Auto Trend ranked this the best SUV of 1918……With luxurious interior appointments, great turning radius, amazing speed and power, and best of all…..5 gallons of fuel per mile !!!!

  6. Given the battlefield conditions at the time, this seems less like a weapon and more like a really efficient way to bake a chlorine-and-soldier upside-down cake.

  7. Crazy to think everyone in this film and all who played a role in WWI are gone. As time passes film pieces like this will be a gateway through history once all the witnesses are gone. Kids will be able to learn about history based on videos and not illustrations in text books. Soon WWII will only be a time in history and the vets we know now will be gone soon. Time waits for no one.

I like the cute USA flags, they flap well. or is it fake ? they would never get to outer space with one of these babies…..

I'm sure the army high command was felt reassured after seeing how well the tanks did against those crafty leafless trees.  Pity no one thought about how well they would do against an adversary armed with a 75MM cannon.
